Did You Know?
Dick: You know, I think I need to get a refresher on making better use of our iPad.
Jane: Good idea. We have all those pictures you took on our trip to Europe. I think you can organize them on our iPad.
Dick: Right, but you also said after seeing all that beautiful art on our trip, that you wanted to take some art classes.
Jane: This is true. Let’s see what’s out there.
And guess where Dick and Jane started their search? Right… SunCoast Alliance for Lifelong Learning website.
For art classes, Jane found a range of choices at Southern Atelier, Adult and Community Enrichment and Arts and Cultural Alliance of Sarasota County. She narrowed her choices to a still life painting course at Southern Atelier, a water color class at ACE, and learned of the Florida Suncoast Watercolor Society at the Arts & Cultural Alliance website. Lots of good choices to explore further.
Dick was equally successful in surfacing computer classes at Adult and Community Enrichment, Sarasota Technology Users Group and State College of Florida Continuing and Community Relations. He discovered that ACE had a class on Google Photos, STUG provided a class on iPhone & iPad Photos, and State College offered iPad basics. All good choices that match well with what he is looking for.
Amazing choices surfaced from a few moments of exploration at the SCALL website. One-stop, one-shop location for your convenience when it comes to finding a class of your interest. Join Dick and Jane and benefit from our community of lifelong learning organizations.
