(Only for those students who have completed Qi Qong 1.) Qi Gong 2 places an emphasis upon the concept of Jing Gong, which eases the practitioner into a state of complacency after “mind pollution” and “stagnant Qi” are melted away by the balanced distribution of Qi throughout the meridians. An introduction to the Small Circulation Abdominal Breathing Circuit (Xiao Zhou Tian) is directed toward the purpose of encouraging practitioners to experience this state of calm mind and a peaceful heart. The Dong Gong Crane form and its accompanying massage and bone Qi Gong itinerary (as practiced in the First Level Qi Gong classes), will be continued and expanded as the gathering and channeling of “upright qi” is absolutely essential to Small Circulation Breathing Cosmic System. There will also be an introduction to the Silk Exercises (Baduanjin) depending upon session progress. Free limb and waist movements use joints rather than muscular strain to unburden stress and ease to relaxation. The emphasis in class sessions is upon Dong Gong, which intends to dispel physical and emotional blockages through the practice of Qi Gong form movements. The instructional environment for this course is noncompetitive and emphasizes safe, motivational, group-oriented practice to enrich the quality of life.

It is a course for ALL boaters: personal watercraft operators, hunters or fishermen operating outboard utility boats, skippers of family cruisers, sailing enthusiasts, and canoe and kayak paddlers. All boaters must follow the same nautical rules, regulations, and courtesies of the sea. The entire family will enjoy the course. It meets Florida State Boating Safety Education requirements and includes a proctored exam approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA). Anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 must take a Florida-approved boat safety course to operate a boat with 10 HP or more.

Assuming you pass the test, you’ll receive a temporary Safe Boating card. Then two weeks later you’ll receive the wallet card from the FWC (Florida Fish & Wildlife Commission). As a point of information, participants can get a reduction in their boat insurance premiums by showing the FWC card.
